WHAT TO EXPECT
We know that going anywhere new for the first time can be an uncertain experience. To avoid confusion, here is a quick list that we believe you'll find helpful when planning your visit to First Baptist Choctaw:
When to arrive:
We currently offer several worship opportunities to choose from. Join us every Sunday for worship at 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. It is best if you are bringing children to arrive 15-20 minutes before service for check-in. Otherwise, feel free to show up early and meet some of the great people here at First Baptist Choctaw before service begins.
Your child's safety is one of our biggest priorities. So that we can best serve your family, we require all children to be checked in prior to our service starting. The children's check in location is on the 1st Floor of our Education Building. We advise arriving 10-15 minutes early and entering through the South West entrance of our campus. You will then be greeted and walked through the children's check-in process by one of our certified volunteers! During this season of COVID-19, we will be checking every child's temperature upon entry to try to keep everyone as safe as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Our services include worship through singing and relevant Bible teaching. If you like a Choir-led blended worship style, our 8:30 a.m. service is what you are looking for. If you like a band-led worship set, then our 11:00 a.m. service is more your style. Our services are about an hour long and are held in the Worship Center on the north side of our building.
Our atmosphere is quite casual. You’ll find people dressed in upscale casual to blue jeans and a t-shirt.
We have guest parking available on the west side of our campus off of Main Street. We encourage all guests to park in guest parking and enter through the west doors so that they're greeted by one of our amazing Welcome Team volunteers and pointed in the right direction.
