"Staying off of God's Hate List"

Proverbs 6:16-19

I.	Haughty Eyes

	A.	The eyes tell much about a person.

	B.	God rejects arrogance.

	C.	Ask the Spirit to guard your heart against arrogance.

II.	A Lying Tongue

	A.	The tongue has great power.

	B.	Falsehood is an affront to the person of God.

	C.	Ask the Spirit to establish you in truth.

III.	Hands Which Shed Innocent Blood

	A.	Be careful to control your hands.

	B.	Ask the Spirit to protect your hands.

IV.	A Heart Which Devises Wicked Plans

	A.	We must guard our thoughts

	B.	Ask the Spirit to purify and guard your thoughts.

V.	Feet that Rapidly Run to Evil

	A.	"Be careful little feet where you go."

	B.	Getting away with it once speeds up participation.

	C.	Ask the Spirit to stop your wayward steps.

VI.	A False Witness

	A.	Be wary of character assassination.

	B.	Ask the Spirit to make you a defender.

VII.	A Spreader of Strife Among Brothers

	A.	A "strife-spreader" usually operates out of jealousy.

	B.	This is especially dangerous in the church.

	C.	Ask the Spirit to make you a peacemaker.
