Restoration Ezra 3:10-13 I. God Always Desires Restoration A. He knows our propensity to drift away from Him. B. Often we are unaware of the drift. 1. Rebellion. 2. Laziness. 3. Distraction. 4. Fear. C. Regardless of the reason we are away, God desires to restore us. II. There is Great Reward in Continuous Service. A. Even with restoration, some of the glory and the blessings are lost. B. We should respect the wisdom and experiences of the past. C. Continuous faithfulness brings great reward. III. We Must Respect our Fellow Worshippers A. Worship comes from various perspectives. 1. Some worship from duty. 2. Some worship from joy. 3. Some worship from a broken heart. B. We must respect all perspectives and especially lift up the broken hearted. 1. The deepest worship reaches beyond ourselves. 2. The most meaningful worship results in ministry. 3. We have a part in God's restoration projects.
